HISTORY

The first sod was turned in the GEBAB construction company – coming from Gothenburg we are allowed a bit of wit – as far back as the 1940s. With well over half a century behind us, we have notched up experience though the Elvis rock and roll era, the switch over to right-hand driving, the yuppie era and the Facebook entry.

Gustav Ericsson was the person who established the company, thus the company name; Gustav Ericsson Byggnads AB [Builders Ltd], now abbreviated to GEBAB. The private firm became a limited company in 1958 and in the 1970s the younger generation entered the scene when Gustav's three sons took over the enterprise.

In 1994 the youngest brother’s son, Peter Ericsson, took over the relay baton for the family company. The old ancestry is still there in the walls and is combined with modern ideas to the success of our customers.
